Grandstream UCM61XX - Change Music On Hold (MoH)
Before
uploading an audio file to the UCM for Music On Hold, it is
recommended to convert the audio for to the following
specifications:
File
type: WAV
Bit Resolution: 16 Bit
Sampling Rate: 8000 Hz
Audio Channels: Mono
Bit Resolution: 16 Bit
Sampling Rate: 8000 Hz
Audio Channels: Mono
Once
the file has been converted, it can be uploaded.
To
change Music On Hold on the UCM61XX, please do the following:

Log into the UCM61XX web interface and go to PBX.

From the left menu options, go to Internal Options.

Click on Music On Hold.

From the Manage Music On Hold page, click on Create New MOH Class.

From the Create New MOH Class popup, enter in a Name

Select MOH Class Sort (Random or Alpha) - This is used if multiple audo files are available in the MOH Class.

Click Save.

A Prompt Information window will prompt of the name change to lower case if upper case was used, click OK.

Click Apply Changes.

Click the Folder icon to Choose a file to upload (choose the file that was converted per the specifications noted above).

Click Upload once the file has been selected, a Loading prompt will be displayed.

The Sound File is now listed.

Click Apply Changes.

From the left menu options, go to SIP Settings.

Click on ToS.
-
Find Music On Hold Interpret and set the new MOH Class that was created in step 5.

Find Music On Hold Suggest and set the new MOH Class that was created in step 5.

Click Save.

Click Apply Changes.
- From the left menu options, go to Basic Call Routes.

Click on Extensions.
-
Select all Extensions by checking the box.

Click on Modify Selected Extensions.

From the Modify Selected Extensions window, select or check the Music On Hold option and from the drop down menu, select the MOH Class that was created in step 5.

Click Save and Apply Changes.
